Time to talk some TeaTalk! It’s officially spooky season — what’s everyone wearing for Halloween? You know Gabi and I are hard at work on our costumes. And I’m back in LA for a bit after a fun time at New York Fashion Week, where I did my first show with Love Kelly x Converse.

  1. 🐧 HBO’s The Penguin is crushing the ratings with its second episode bringing in 1.6 million viewers on Sunday alone — a 17% increase from the premiere. Batman may not be in the show, but everyone loves Gotham.

  2. 🎤 Drake’s “It’s All a Blur” tour is now the highest-grossing hip-hop tour ever after it generated $320.5 million across 80 sold-out shows.

  3. 🎞️ After several flops over the past year, Apple is scaling back its theatrical-movie ambitions in favor of making 10 mid-budget movies for streaming… and only one or two blockbusters for the big screen.

  4. 🎯 TikTok is coming after Google by giving advertisers the ability to target their ads on the platform — a big deal when a lot of Gen Z is using TikTok as their go-to app for search.

  5. 📱 It’s not just the kids turning to social shopping like TikTok Shop and Amazon Live — a study by Horizon Media found that millennials and Gen X love it, too.
